Project Overview
This project involved the refurbishment and expansion of the floatation room within Buildings 31 and 32, which remained operational throughout the works. Scope included the safe removal of the existing floatation tank and associated services, with transport to the ASC Logistics Warehouse for potential reuse. Internal modifications were made to the floatation and adjacent collaboration rooms, including demolition works, reconfiguration of walls, and installation of new joinery in the reception area.
A new flotation tank was transported from the ASC warehouse, assembled and installed in accordance with manufacturer requirements, with all supporting services commissioned. The refurbished flotation room was fully fitted out with new finishes and services. Works also included relocation of existing signage, installation of traffolyte labels, make-good of the collaboration room, and provision of spare tiles. All services were tested and commissioned, with works staged to minimise disruption and ensure safety in the live environment.
